Seasonal experiences — Prague & Central Bohemia
Christmas, Hanukkah, a secular winter gathering, or whatever your household or company actually celebrates — planned, styled and coordinated end to end, the way we handle every Kultura event.
Every tradition
Prague's expat community keeps the season in a lot of different ways, often more than one under the same roof. Here are a few we plan for often — if yours isn't listed, tell us anyway.
01
Trees, lights, a Santa or Mikuláš visit, and the full traditional trimmings — as classic or as low-key as you want.
02
A menorah lighting, latkes and dreidels, styled and hosted for a family gathering or a community candle-lighting.
03
A kinara lighting and Karamu feast honoring African heritage and the seven principles, styled and hosted with care.
04
A gathering built around the return of the light — a Yule log, evergreens, and a feast to mark the longest night.
05
A celebration timed to the lunar calendar, with the food, colour and customs that matter to your family.
06
All the warmth and hosting of the season, with no religious or cultural framing attached — just good company.
How much we handle
Once we know what you're celebrating, the next question is how much you want us to handle. These are the shapes we build most often.
01
Menu, decor, hosting and logistics handled end to end — you just show up and enjoy it.
02
You're cooking or catering — we handle the decor, the table, and the logistics around it.
03
A company party that works for a team with a genuine mix of backgrounds and traditions.
04
Larger, open gatherings for community groups and organisations, scoped to the occasion.
What's involved
As with every Kultura event, the gathering is easy to picture — the coordination behind it is where the work happens.
We start by asking what you actually celebrate — one tradition, several, or none of the above — and how much you want us to handle.
A menu built around your tradition, or a blend of several, prepared and delivered on time.
Table settings, lighting and decor built around what you're marking, not a generic template.
Timing, seating, service and setup worked out in advance so the day runs smoothly.
For larger gatherings, we're on hand to manage service, pacing and guests so you don't have to.
Our approach comes from the same place as our corporate and wedding work — a background in cultural anthropology, and a belief that the good parts of any gathering come from the same handful of things done properly.
Prague's expat community keeps the season in a lot of different ways, often several at once under one roof. We'd rather ask than assume, so nobody's tradition gets left off the table.
Have something specific in mind — a family custom, a blended menu, a Santa or Mikuláš visit? Just ask. That conversation is where we start.

How we build it
There's no fixed tier structure here — every winter gathering is scoped around who's cooking, who's hosting, and how many people are at the table. Here's what each scope can include.
Want us to handle the meal but not the decor, or the other way around? Tell us — that's exactly how most bookings start.
